About Michael

I'm a seasoned tennis professional, born and raised in Sarasota, FL. My passion for tennis ignited at the age of 8, when I began daily training and rapidly advanced to competing in national tournaments. I won the HT Preps Player of the Year in 2014 and achieved a singles ranking in the Top 25 in the State of Florida. I went on to play collegiate tennis, and joined the team at Laurel Oak Country Club in 2019. After establishing a loyal client base, I chose to relocate to South Carolina with my wife, Sarah, and our two children to be closer to family. I remain an active competitor, upholding my reputation as a skilled pro player. I work with athletes of all levels, from beginners to advanced players and enjoy sharing my knowledge for kinesthetics teaching technique to help others improve and enjoy tennis as much as I do. I am excited to work with Thornblade members and build lasting relationships at this beautiful club!
