Head Golf Professional
(864) 672-1005
Originally from Georgetown, OH, my passion for golf developed while in college working a summer job on a golf course’s maintenance staff. I quickly became infatuated with not only the game, but the profession and decided to pursue a career in golf. I obtained an Assistants Position at the exclusive Quail West Golf & Country in Naples, FL, quickly ascended to First Assistant, and continued to serve the members at Quail West for nine years. Following my time at Quail West, I joined the team at Olde Hickory and now have the pleasure to serve as Head Golf Professional at Thornblade. I am a Class A PGA Professional, Certified PGA Professional in Golf Operations and have a vast background in several aspects of golf instruction, biomechanics, and fitness, such as FlightScope, AimPoint, TPI, Golf Fitness X, and Functional Movement Systems. I have also had several fortunate opportunities to study under world renowned golf instructors Butch Harmon, Chuck Cook, Jim McLean, Mike Adams, Sean Foley, and Chris Cuomo. I was also nominated and a finalist for the 2020 PGA Teacher of the Year in the Southwest Florida Chapter, 2020 Southwest Florida Chapter PGA Professional of Year Award and PGA Professional Development Award.
